EMDR Therapy
EMDR Standard Protocol
The EMDR Standard Protocol is the core structure used in EMDR therapy to help
people safely process and heal from painful memories, trauma, or overwhelming
experiences. It gently guides you through eight clear steps—from getting to know your
story, to identifying what is still affecting you, to using bilateral stimulation (like eye
movements or tapping) to help your brain “reprocess” and release stuck emotions. It’s a
proven, supportive approach that helps you feel more calm, clear, and in
control—without needing to relive every detail.
R-TEP EMDR Therapy
R-TEP (Recent Traumatic Episode Protocol) is a gentle and focused way to use EMDR
therapy to help people process recent trauma—like a car accident, medical event, or
other overwhelming experience. It helps the brain “digest” what happened before those
memories get stuck and start affecting daily life. With the support of a trained therapist,
R-TEP can reduce distress, build resilience, and support healing—often before things
grow into long-term struggles.
G-TEP EMDR Therapy
G-TEP (Group Traumatic Episode Protocol) is a gentle and structured way to use
EMDR therapy in a small group setting, such as couples and families. It’s designed to
help people process recent or past trauma without having to share personal details out
loud. Using a guided worksheet and calming techniques, participants can safely work
through difficult memories at their own pace—with the support of a trained therapist and
a therapeutic environment. It’s a powerful, private way to begin moving forward,
together.
